Veggie Month

March is Veggie Month!

So why not give vegetarianism a go? It's not only easy, but essential if you are concerned with animal welfare, your health, or protecting the planet. This year, Veggie Month is supported by long-term vegetarian, comedian Dave Spikey - just one of the many celebrities who have adopted a cruelty-free diet. March is also the launch of Animal Aid's nationwide youth art and poetry competition on factory farming - so, if you're 11-18, get creative! And for all those foodies out there, you could win dinner for two at one of the many vegetarian restaurants across the country.

Whether you've been thinking about going veggie or have never thought about it before, what's stopping you? Will you take the veggie challenge?
